Shining a Light: America, Ethnography & Disbelief
While researching books for another assignment, I came across Alice Goffman's On the Run and had to read it. The book didn't quite meet the criteria for the assignment I was working on, but the book was so compelling that I had to find a way to incorporate it into some type of audiovisual project. Then, Moonlight won the Academy Award for Best Picture. This video discusses the ethnographic issues both works have faced.
